Media Blasting / Rust Removal
We offer blasting for parts large and small. We use various different types of media and processes to meet your desired finishing needs. Some of these include Garnett, Crushed and Beaded Glass, Zinc Cast Shot, and Plastic Media.
Powder Coating
Our Power Coat Shop can handle a wide range of small and large parts through our Pre-Treatment Cleaner and Iron Phosphate Systems. Custom color matches are also available. We offer a wide variety of Powder Coatings and colors from various vendors such as: PPG, Diamond Vogel, Sherwin Williams, and Prismatic Powders.
Powder Coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. The coating is typically applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a "skin". The powder may be a thermoplastic or a thermoset polymer. It is usually used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint.

Thermal Burn Off
At Northland Coating Solutions we offer Thermal (Burn Off) removal of old coatings. Thermal removal of old finished is a safe and efficient way to remove coating from ferrous parts and fixtures. The process uses a controlled oven to gradually heat the parts to remove the coatings.
